In Provence, the very last music festivals of the year close out the summer season, and people start venturing out to art events - preferably indoors. Markets are still outdoors in smaller towns, but in Avignon, Les Halles is an indoor market. Little by little the variety of produce moves to the more winter-like root vegetables, apples and pears, and craft stalls start making their appearance.
At Provence Table, we refuse to let go of summer completely. Our Summer Vacation collection brings all the joys of a beach vacation to our dining table: sunshine, beach chairs, sea birds, kites and ice cream at an outdoor cafe all combine to bring us back the relaxation enjoyed at the beach. Our Seascape collection continues on the theme.
And perhaps we will ease into fall with a dinner party - a buffet table, with our splendid napkins arranged in a bouquet of mixed colors and designs. Maybe an artichoke barigoule to start with, along with a glass of rose? Or a sit-down dinner with a few friends, featuring our new Orangerie collection?
Hello, fall - maybe we are ready for the dinner parties and gatherings that make the shorter days more exciting. Provence Table linens make the simplest get-together more colorful.
